Pre Pregnancy Counselling
Here's what you need to know before getting pregnant
How should I plan for pregnancy?
If you are trying to have a baby or are just thinking about it, it is not too early to start getting ready for pregnancy. Preconception care focus on things you can do before and between pregnancies to increase the chances of having a healthy baby.
As you plan to have your baby, talk to your doctor about you and your partner’s health record, medical conditions and family history to evaluate and safeguard against factors that can adversely affect upcoming pregnancy.
Should I change my lifestyle when I am planning
While you and your partner may be busy in streamlining medical matters, it is equally important to get ready to prepare your body and mind. For some women, getting ready for pregnancy takes a few months. For others, it might take longer. This will not only boost pregnancy health, at the same time reduce possibilities of infertility.
What should I eat when I am trying to get pregnant?
Most importantly, fertility diet can boost fertility by adding nutrition that are conducive to conceiving a child.
Eating a variety of good foods is super important for a healthy pregnancy and baby. The nutrients you put into your body directly affect your baby’s birth weight and health — even after they’re born.
Many people find they need to change their diet so they can have the healthiest pregnancy possible. Changing the way you eat can be hard — it may be easier to start by adding more healthy foods before you take away the unhealthy foods.
What do I need to know about exercising before my pregnancy?
Exercise is a great way to get your body ready for a healthy pregnancy. It strengthens your body and can even help make it feel easier to give birth.
Being underweight or overweight can make it harder to get pregnant. And people who are at a healthy weight are less likely to have problems during their pregnancies.
What is effect of stress in successfully conceiving your baby?
Avoiding stress and taking care of your mental well-being can help you have a healthier (and happier) pregnancy. Set time aside to do things you enjoy and that relax you.
Stress free happy lifestyle reduces the chances of infertility, preterm and stillbirth.
